Detective Conan returns in new english dub and headed to the big screen!

Looks like in japan 4 of the five highest grossing movies this year there are anime! Are we shocked?

1. One Piece Film Red - 18.78 billion yen (US$134.04 million)
2. JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 - 13.8 billion yen (US$121.15 million)
3. Top Gun Maverick - 13.5 billion yen (US$100.45 million)
4. Suzume - 10.01 billion yen (US$72.74 million)
5. Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween - 9.78 billion yen (US$74.45 million)

Are we shocked a detective conan film is on the list after over 25 years. Not really.

Note slam dunk and avatar just missed the cut off and will count for next years list.

Japan detective conan new movie scored second best 3 day weekend ever in japan and biggest april opening ever. Mario stay away from conan in japan! Wait it out!

We have a new dub starting over from ep 1(two old dub cast return as well!) and a "super" cut of canon episodes only. Also, they cleared the conan name rights from conan the barbarian owners and it's called detective conan in america now!

So checked detective conan on netflix out and--what a hack job. They ONLY did the black O episodes. Skipping many first appearances and big plot points. In some cases, over 100 episodes skipped between episodes. What a crappy way to watch this for the first time.

Why can't they release these right post the first airings in america? Geez is it that hard when one piece and dbz had no trouble. If it's your first watch for this series skip this and go watch the old dub and sub versions.
